Monday Mindset: Improve your daytime recovery

It’s time for another Monday Mindset post and today we’ll talk about using the Valley phase of your day for improving your daytime recovery.

Recovery doesn’t happen only during sleep. Find the perfect time for a break, in the valley phase in your day. Allocating time to be relaxed, active, social or in nature can have a great impact on your daytime recovery.

What to do during the Valley phase of your day? Use it for easy work, like simple tasks or email catch up. Or better yet, recover by getting outside for some fresh air. If you really need a performance boost, take a 20-25min nap when you have the opportunity.

Reserve time in your calendar for a break– even if it is just a walk and talk meeting
